Preservation of Open Space

Good Afternoon,

As we have noted before and our actions have proven, we (West Bradford Township) are fully committed to the preservation of our open space for present and future generations.  While we remain 100% committed to this belief, it is important to understand that private property rights do exist and those rights must be respected.  As we continue to negotiate preservation easements, we need to be mindful that the private owner plays an equal role in organizing a deal.  Without that dual cooperation, the law limits how far a municipality can reach.

The Supervisors and the Township Administration hold open space preservation as one of our highest priorities and believe we owe it to our residents, both present and future.  In that spirit, we will not relent in our belief, vision or our commitment to that goal.
