Historical Commission

Mission Statement

The Historical Commission consists of seven members and one ex-officio member. The members are appointed by the Board of Supervisors and serve a term of three years. The members serve without compensation. 
The Commission conducts meetings to discuss historic items, makes recommendations to the Board of Supervisors on historic issues, and conducts surveys for areas to be listed on the National Historic Register and the Township listing of historical buildings. Meetings are open to anyone interested in historical subjects.
