Auditors

Mission Statement:

The Board of Auditors consists of three members. One member is elected at large during each local election (every other year, odd numbers). The term of office is six years. The elected Auditors meet once annually for a reorganization meeting at which time they select a chairperson, vice chairperson, and a secretary.  As the Township grew in size, operation, and complexity the duties of the financial auditing were turned over to professional certified public accountants (CPA) to ensure the highest level of scrutiny and compliance with the law.  Currently, the Township contracts with BBD, LLP – Certified Public Accountants for the financial audits.
