Leaf & Brush Collection

Yard waste cannot be burned - it is against Township ordinance to burn recyclables (leaves and sticks are considered recyclable by mulching). Please see Ordinance #05-04.

SPRING LEAF, STICK & BRUSH COLLECTION

West Bradford Township will offer a curbside collection of leaves, sticks, and brush on three Wednesdays this Spring…  March 27th, April 10th, and May 15th. This convenient service is available to West Bradford residents at no cost, as yard waste in toters is not permitted.  Repeat offenders who put yard waste in their toters will be fined.

Leaves must be placed in biodegradable collection bags which may be purchased at the Township Building ($0.50 /bag), or at local hardware stores.  Please do not mix sticks in with the leaves. Place them in separate bags or bundle them together.  Do not staple bags shut.

All brush must be tied with biodegradable twine (such as cotton or hemp) into manageable bundles no longer than four feet.  Please note branches thicker than four inches cannot be collected.

Collection is by appointment only!  To ensure your spot on our list, please contact the Township at 610-269-4174 or ptomczak@westbradford.org  by 2 pm the day before your preferred collection day.

For leaf/brush disposal, please also check out our Compost Site!
