Highland Orchards Update

Good Morning,

At approximately 7:00 a.m. this morning, Township personnel was contacted by the WBT Fire Department that another mulch fire had started at Highland Orchards. After walking the site with the Fire Chief, it appears the fire is under control and there is no immediate threat to the surrounding community. WBFD, along with Highland Orchards personnel, are aggressively working to extinguish any remaining fire. At this time, "all hands are on deck" to address the situation.

FROM THE WBFD - A notice to residents, the WBFC is currently out at Highland Orchards for a mulch fire. WBFC along with Highland Orchard staff are on location. There is no threat to surrounding areas and residents at this time. We will continue with updates on the progress. Thank you.
