Highland Orchards Fire Update (From our Fire Department):

Just like the first update we are going to start this one by reiterating that the fire in Highland Orchards is under control, even though the fire continues to burn and will continue to burn for an unforeseen amount of time, there is no threat to surrounding areas. The West Bradford Fire Co volunteers have been working alongside staff from Highland Orchards to continue to work on containment of this fire and implementing contingency plans for if the situation were to change. Last night fire crews were on scene continuing our efforts to consistently wet down exposures and build, reinforce and expand on fire breaks around the fire to prevent spread to nearby vegetation. The awesome staff of Highland Orchards have been keeping up and will continue to keep up fire watches over night until it is determined that it is no longer needed to survey the fire 24/7. We have been in contact with West Bradford Township officials who are aware of the current situation. We continue to appreciate all the support that has been given to the fire company, to our surrounding mutual aid companies, the residents impacted by this fire and Highland Orchards. We thank you for your understanding and concern for all involved in and around this incident and as always, be safe and stay healthy. Thank you.

Very special THANK YOU to Chief Jack Law and all of his wonderful volunteers both in and around WBT.  These individuals are among the best!
