Community Utilities of Pennsylvania Inc.

We have received several inquiries on the proposed Community Utilities of Pennsylvania Inc. rate increase filed with the Pennsylvania Utility Commission (PUC). Our Township Administration Building is a customer of Utilities Inc., as are many of you, and we share in your frustration.
Our legal team researched the process to oppose such filings and found that there are several advocacy groups that regularly challenge such increases. These groups include the Office of Small Business Advocate (OSBA), Office of Consumer Advocate (OCA), and the PUC Bureau of Investigation and Enforcement.
In an effort to share as much information as possible about this process, we are including a link to the PUC website where you can search the docket and see what has been filed in relation to this proposed rate increase.
