How you choose to dispose of cardboard has some serious financial consequences!
A word about….cardboard recycling. Did you know we have an actual “cardboard conundrum” when it comes to recycling cardboard? As you may (or may not know), West Bradford Township offers residents the option to recycle cardboard right here on our campus (1385 Campus Drive, Downingtown).
So, bring all those CLEAN Amazon boxes here! Did you know that when you toss cardboard in the trash it costs the township $80 per ton for disposal? When you place your cardboard in the recycling bin it costs the township $45 per ton for disposal BUT when you bring it to the township campus for recycling the township is PAID $45 per ton when collected! Help us offset the increasing cost of our trash disposal. It’s very simple math - so please bring your cardboard to be recycled here at campus and stop in and say “Hi” while you’re here!
