As we transition from summer to fall, you may realize that your trusty grill or lawn mower has seen its final year of service.  If you need to dispose of one of these items, instead of placing the item out for bulk pickup at the end of the month, please call the township to schedule a free Wednesday curbside pickup.  

This ensures that your grill or lawn mower is recycled instead of being disposed of at the landfill.  

Alternatively, you can bring your grill or lawn mower to the Compost Site at 2020 Strasburg Road, Coatesville, and place it in the scrap metal dumpster.  Any metal item can be placed in the scrap metal dumpster for recycling at no charge.  Please make sure to remove all fluids from items before recycling.  The Compost Site is open Wednesdays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
