On Thursday, May 29th, members of the West Bradford Fire Company proudly traveled to the Chester County Public Safety Training Campus to celebrate a very special occasion—graduation day for WBFC’s own Josh Kirk!
Escorted by Brush 39, Chief 39, and Engine 39-3, Kirk graduated from the Octorara Homeland Security and Protective Services Academy, a prestigious program that offers hands-on training and certification in fire services, EMS, law enforcement, hazardous materials response, and technical rescue.
With his graduation, Kirk is now qualified to serve as an interior firefighter for West Bradford Fire Company—an incredible milestone that reflects his dedication, hard work, and passion for public safety. Later that week, we also celebrated two of our members who graduated high school this, Josh Kirk (Downingtown West) and Pavi Suresh from Downingtown STEM.
We couldn’t be prouder and wish Josh and Pavi and all the graduates the very best as they begin their next chapter in service to the community!
