We hope this article finds everyone well and ready for the winter season! We would like to offer some colder weather tips to keep everyone safe. If you are using an auxiliary heating aid such as a pellet stove, woodstove, or fireplace please make sure to have your chimney cleaned and inspected as well as the heating appliance itself. If you have other heat sources, please make sure to follow the manufacturer’s recommendations for a safe operation.
Please keep space heaters away from draperies, furniture etc. Please make sure your smoke / heat and carbon monoxide detectors are within date, unexpired, and have fresh batteries. There should be at least one carbon monoxide detector and multiple smoke detectors on each floor, especially in or outside your sleeping quarters.
