The units of local government (including Downingtown, East Brandywine, East Caln, Upper Uwchlan, Uwchlan, West Bradford, and West Pikeland) and the Downingtown Area School District join together in a voluntary organization known as the Downingtown Area Recreation Consortium (DARC), for the purpose of creation and operation of an area wide recreation program. The objective is to provide quality recreational and education programs to our residents. Their goal is to combine their resources to meet regional recreational challenges and needs.
