EV-Charging Station
It may not look like much, but this EV charging station at the Chester County Intermediate Unit enables the average EV to have the same greenhouse-gas emissions as a car getting 80 MPG, according to Forbes.

Reducing your transportation emissions is one of the best ways you can help prevent the climate crisis. However, in West Bradford, many of us don’t have the low-carbon option of public transportation available.

Since most Americans drive fewer than 40 miles per day, an EV would be a great choice, since most EVs on the market in 2020 deliver about 250 miles per charge. Install a home Level 2 charger, and be ready to drive full range in about 4 hours (you can plug into a regular system, but the charge will then take about 20 hours). Many federal and state incentives are available for purchasing EVs, and they cost less than half as much to drive - and buying a used EV can save you even more! Remember, too, that EV engines have fewer moving parts, and so they need less maintenance.
