NOTICE:  The West Bradford Zoning Hearing Board will consider the following and any other matters that properly come before them on September 3, 2008 at the West Bradford Township Administration Building , 1385 Campus Drive , Downingtown , PA    19335 . The meeting will begin at 7:00 P.M.  Hearings may not be held in the order listed.  

APPEAL   #352:  APPLICANT:  Romansville United Methodist Church .  PROPERTY: 1855 West Strasburg Road, Coatesville, PA 19320.   WHEREBY the applicant seeks a variance to increase the maximum impervious surface area and to construct a driveway to connect with the old building to encroach the front yard setback.  The increase requested for the impervious surface is to 35.3% and the encroachment of the 85 feet setback by 16 feet.  Reference Sections 410.3.D.1 and 401.4.A.1 of the West Bradford Township Zoning Ordinance.  

APPEAL #353:  APPLICANT: Mr. and Mrs. James Dougherty.   PROPERTY: 1109 Blueberry Lane , Coatesville , PA 19320 .   WHEREBY the applicant seeks a variance to encroach the front yard setback by 12 feet in order to add an addition to the front of an attached single car garage.  Reference Section 401.4 A. of the West Bradford Township Zoning Ordinance.


NOTICE: The Zoning Hearing Board of West Bradford Township will hold a hearing for the following and any other matters that properly come before them on Wednesday, May 2, 2007 at the West Bradford Township Administration Building, 1385 Campus Drive, Downingtown, PA   19335.  The meeting is to begin at 7:00 P.M.

APPEAL # 336:   APPLICANTS:  Lincoln John Boswell and Susan Elizabeth Line Boswell.    ADDRESS: 1790 Beacon Hill Road, Downingtown, PA.    PROPERTIES AT ISSUE:  50-4-13.3 (Smith); 50-4-13.4 (Smith); 50-1-65 (Gray).  Located generally next to Broad Run Road between Chestnut Lane and West Chester Road at its intersection with Embreeville Road.  WHEREBY the applicant is appealing from the action of the Board of Supervisors, filing a procedural and substantive challenge to the February 13, 2007 decision of the Board of Supervisors regarding the properties, stating that the Board of Supervisors did not comply with the procedural requirements of the Zoning Ordinance.    PENDING.


NOTICE: The Zoning Hearing Board of West Bradford Township will hold hearings for the following matters on Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at the West Bradford Township Administration Building, 1385 Campus Drive, Downingtown, PA   19335.  The meeting is to begin at 7:00 P.M. 

APPEAL # 325:   APPLICANT:  Bentley Communities, L.P.  PROPERTY: 1594 Broad Run Road, Downingtown, PA  19335.  WHEREBY the applicant seeks a variance to permit the impervious surface area on each of 75 proposed lots to exceed the Ordinance limitation of 4,700 square feet per lot.  Reference section 401.9.(d)(c)4 of the West Bradford Township Zoning Ordinance. POSTPONED  INDEFINITELY.

APPEAL #326:   APPLICANT:  Bentley Communities, L.P.  PROPERTY: 1594 Broad Run Road, Downingtown, PA  19335.   WHEREBY the applicant challenges the substantive validity of Section 401.9(d)(c)4 of the West Bradford Township Zoning Ordinance stating that it unduly restricts Bentley’s ability to develop the property in conformity with the Township’s Community Development Objectives by limiting the per-lot impervious surface coverage without considering the overall impervious coverage.  POSTPONED INDEFINITELY.
