NOTICE:  Act 46 of 2010 - Permit Extension Notification.

INVITATION TO BID:  Sealed proposals will be received by the Township of West Bradford Township, 1385 Campus Drive, Downingtown, PA 19335 until 12:00 noon on Monday, July 12, 2010 and will be opened on this same date at the Township Building at 1:00 p.m. for the following:  SODIUM CHLORIDE - Approximately 12,550 tons for Winter 2010-2011. Specifications and bid information packages are available at the above address, by call 610-269-4174 or  by clicking here.   Proposals must be on the forms furnished by the Township of West Bradford, and in a sealed envelope marked "Sodium Chloride Bid - Winter 2010-2011" and must include on the outside the name, address and phone number of the bidder.  The bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 10% of the bid.  This is a cooperative bid on behalf of the following Municipalities:  Borough of Downingtown, Borough of Malvern, Borough of West Chester, City of Coatesville, East Caln Township, East Vincent Township, East Whiteland Township, Easttown Township, North Coventry Township, Schuylkill Township, Tredyffrin Township, Upper Uwchlan Township, Uwchlan Township, West Bradford Township, West Whiteland Township, and Willistown Township.  The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all bids as is deemed in the best interest of the Municipalities. 

NOTICE:  Request for Qualifications - Construction Inspection Services.  West Bradford Township is seeking a responsible firm to conduct construction inspection services during the development of the Marshallton Streetscapes Project.  To submit qualifications for this Agreement, you must be registered as a PennDOT Business Partner.  Click here for a project description and application instructions.  For Appendix, click here.  Responses to be received no later than 2:00 PM on July 9, 2010.
 

INVITATION TO BID:  Sealed proposals will be received by the Board of Supervisors of West Bradford Township, 1385 Campus Drive, Downingtown, PA 19335 until 12:00 noon on Monday, July 12, 2010 and will be opened on this same date at the Township Building at 1:30 p.m. 

Bids may be delivered or mailed to the Administration Office at the above address. 

FURNISH AND INSTALL THE FOLLOWING:

COLORCOATING & LINESTRIPING
BASKETBALL COURTS & HOCKEY RINKS
SHADYSIDE AND BROAD RUN PARKS 

Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Township and may be obtained at the West Bradford Township Administration Building or at www.westbradford.org.  Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked “Colorcoating & Linestriping Bid 2010” by 12:00 noon on Monday, July 12, 2010 and must include on the outside of the envelope the name, address and telephone number of the bidder.  The bids will be opened at 1:30 p.m. that same date in the Municipal Building for review. A list of bids received will be presented to the Board of Supervisors on Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at 8:00 p.m. for consideration.  All bids must be accompanied by a certified check in an amount not less than 10% of the total bid, payable to the “TOWNSHIP OF WEST BRADFORD.”  In lieu of a check, a 10% bid bond, having surety acceptable to the Township of West Bradford, may be submitted with the proposal.   

West Bradford Township reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to waive informality in the bidding as may be deemed in the best interest of the Township. 

NOTICE:  The West Bradford Township Yard Waste Compost Center located at 2020 West Strasburg Road is now open!  Bring your yard waste on Wednesdays and/or Saturdays from 9 am - 2 pm.
