FREE MULTI-MUNICIPAL SHREDDING EVENT
 CALN VILLAGE SHOPPING CENTER - NEAR ACE HARDWARE
 SATURDAY, APRIL 14TH
9 AM - 1 PM 

West Bradford Township, in cooperation with several area municipalities, is sponsoring a shred event for those residents with documents to destroy.  The event will be held at the Caln Village Shopping Center, next to the Ace Hardware, on Saturday, April 14, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. 

This is a great opportunity to safely destroy old bank statements, credit card receipts and other sensitive paperwork. And better yet, there is no cost for this service! 

The event is open to residents only… business documents will not be accepted.   Limit of 4 boxes per person, please.

FREE E-RECYCLE EVENT
TOWNSHIP CAMPUS
SATURDAY, MAY 19TH
9 AM - 1 PM

West Bradford Township and Free Geek Penn are sponsoring a recycling event for those residents seeking to dispose of personal computers and accessories, including monitors, printers and keyboards.  The event will be held at the Township Building, 1385 Campus Drive, on Saturday, May 19, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. 

Free Geek Penn repairs and refurbishes computers that can be salvaged, and donates these items to the needy and non-profit organizations.  Any equipment not salvageable is recycled.  And Free Geek Penn provides certificates of destruction to confirm all information found on each computer has been properly destroyed.

WEST BRADFORD DAY 2012

Mark your calendars!  West Bradford Day 2012 will be held on Sunday, May 20, from noon to 4:00 p.m. at Broad Run Park.  This year’s event promises to be the best ever, and includes… 

·        games for children of all ages

·        music and school bands

·        rock wall & moon bounce

·        fire engines

·        pony rides

·        the always-popular Ice Cream Tent

·        back-hoe rodeo

·        an abundance of tasty treats from BSA Troop 52 of Marshallton

West Bradford Day 2012 will also include a Community Flea Market.  Come shop for great bargains on crafts, art work, household items, tools, toys, clothing and more.  Sellers may reserve a space at the Flea Market for only $10.  Click here to download a reservation form.

Plentiful and free on-site parking is available. 

There is no rain date for this event.  So if the forecast calls for inclement weather please visit the Township website for cancellation announcements.

MARSHALLTON MEMORIAL DAY PARADE
VILLAGE OF MARSHALLTON
SUNDAY, MAY 27TH
1:30 PM

 The 2012 Marshallton Memorial Day Parade and activities will be held on Sunday, May 27, beginning at 1:30 p.m.  Please join us to honor the memory of the men and women who have proudly served our nation. 

The parade begins at the Goddard School, near the intersection of West Strasburg Road and Sugars Bridge Road, and will proceed west on West Strasburg Road to Northbrook Road, before ending at the Bradford Cemetery.  The parade will include veterans, scout troops, antique cars, fire engines, the Lukens Band and more.  There will also be a decorated bike, trike and wagon competition with a cash prize for best decorated. 

At 2:00 p.m. guest speakers will lead a Memorial Day service at the cemetery.  In the event of rain, the service will be held in the Marshallton United Methodist Church sanctuary. 

Following the service all are invited to attend a reception at Martin’s Tavern, at the intersection of Northbrook Road and Clayton Road.
