BROAD RUN PARK PAVILION DETAILS AND PARK REGULATIONS
Please be advised that there is now a $20.00 deposit fee (separate check required) for pavilion security and/or trash removal. Pending a pavilion inspection by the Parks Department, cash deposits may be picked up at the Township Building the week after the event. Checks will be mailed.
The fees charged for pavilion rental are as follows:

ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES, LOUD MUSIC, AMPLIFIED SYSTEMS, PA SYSTEMS, KARAOKE MACHINES AND SMOKING ARE NOT PERMITTED IN THE PARK. ELECTRICITY IS NOT AVAILABLE.
RESERVATION REGULATIONS:
The fact that a group is permitted to meet at the Township recreation facility does not, in any way, constitute an endorsement of the group’s policies or beliefs.
The Board of Supervisors in its sole discretion reserves the right to grant a written waiver from any regulations in order to resolve special problems that may arise.
By his/her submission of an application, applicant agrees that the Board of Supervisors and Parks and Recreation Commission shall not be held responsible or accountable for any action taken in accordance with these regulations, and shall be held harmless and immune from liability and suit by the applicant for his/her action taken pursuant to these rules and regulations.
Sport facilities cannot be reserved except for the use of the West Bradford Youth Association or the Downingtown School District as approved by the township. The use of sport facilities is subject to general park rules of one (1) hour usage.
The Board of Supervisors shall have the authority to revoke a reservation upon a finding of violation of any rule or ordinance or upon good cause shown.
Not more than two pavilions will be available for reservation for any time period (whether by one party or more than one party).
Reservations for pavilions will be posted each week on Monday. Reservations will not be accepted for any time period when the pavilion reservation schedule has already been posted.
Pavilion users will be responsible for the condition of the facility and trash clean-up when they leave. Screws, nails and other mechanical devices are prohibited for hanging decorations.
Vehicles are permitted in the parking lot only – never permitted in the interior of the park. VIOLATORS WILL BE PROSECUTED.
Reservation fees are non-refundable.
All dogs must be on leashes.
The reservation is for Pavilion Rental only, not for all facilities in the park.
PARK REGULATIONS
The use of any sport facility is restricted to one hour of play.
Reservations can be made for the use of pavilions. The cost ranges from $8-$14 per hour (three-hour minimum) with a $20.00 security deposit.
Reservations cannot be made for facilities other than pavilions. At certain times, sport facilities will be reserved for use by organizations that provide programs for West Bradford Township.
Tennis court use requires a key. Keys are available at the Township Building. A one time key fee ($20 residents; $35 for non-residents) is required for the ability to use the tennis courts whenever they are available. All future Township tennis courts will be accessible with the same key.
Hockey Rink use requires a key effective May 1, 2007 due to vandalism. Keys may be obtained at the Township Building for a refundable fee of $20.00 for township residents and $35.00 for non-township residents. Keys must be purchased by a person 18 years or older and are not able to be duplicated.
Vandalism of any kind in the park will not be tolerated by the Township. Police patrols of the area are ongoing and prosecution of all offenders will be enforced.
Alcoholic beverages are not allowed in the park.
Smoking is not allowed in the park.
Loud music, amplified systems, PA systems and karaoke machines are not permitted in the park.
Most of the year the park closes at sunset except for lighted facilities, which close when the lights go off (approximately 9:30 P.M.). However, during winter months the lights go off and the park closes at 7:30 P.M.
